ATTENTION! The Scientific Council of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine has decided to announce a competitive selection of research papers for obtaining grants of the President of Ukraine to Early Career Researcher and Doctors of sciences:
First call – Call for grants of the President of Ukraine to support research and development of Early Career Researcher and Doctors of sciences (up to 40 years old inclusive)
Second call – Call for grants of the President of Ukraine to support research and development of Young Doctoral Students (up to 35 years old inclusive)
Third call – Call for grants of the President of Ukraine to support research and development of Young Scientists-Doctors of philosophy / Candidates of sciences (up to 35 years old inclusive)
Fourth call – Call for annual grants of the President of Ukraine to Doctors of Sciences (up to 45 years old inclusive) for research and development
The purpose of the calls is to select projects for grant support for research and development, to solve urgent issues of young scientists and doctors of sciences, to ensure their active participation in the implementation of state policy in the field of scientific and scientific and technical activities, to preserve and develop intellectual potential.
The goal of the calls is to stimulate relevant and significant research and development of Early Career Researcher and Doctors of Sciences in the priority areas of the development of science and technology in Ukraine.
Grants can be provided both for planned research and development, and for those that are already being held.
Thematic areas of the Calls must correspond to one of the directions of science and technology development (in accordance with Article 3 of the Law of Ukraine ‘On Priority Areas of Science and Technology Development’):
1) national security and defense;
2) fundamental research on the most important problems of the development of scientific-technical, socio-economic, socio-political, human potential to ensure Ukraine’s competitiveness in the world and sustainable development of society and the state;
3) information and communication technologies;
4) energy and energy efficiency;
5) rational nature management;
6) life sciences, new technologies for the prevention and treatment of the most common diseases;
7) new substances and materials.
The Calls for Doctors of Sciences (up to 40 years old inclusive), for doctoral students (up to 35 years old inclusive) and for Doctors of Philosophy / Candidates of Sciences (up to 35 years old inclusive) are held from January 27, 2025 to July 15, 2025 (approximately).
The Call for Doctors of Sciences (up to 45 years old inclusive) will be held from January 21, 2025 to July 15, 2025 (approximately).
