Materials from the COST Academy Webinar ‘EU policymaking – How Europe works’

On October 13, experts from the COST Academy held one more useful webinar for the National Research Foundation of Ukraine. The topic of the event was ‘EU policymaking – How Europe works’.

This webinar informed us on the essential elements of how the EU system works: the different powers that the EU has, who does what, and how you can have a role in shaping EU decisions. It was specifically focused on EU research and innovation policies, the main actors involved within Horizon Europe and recent initiatives such as the EU Missions and the European Partnerships for research and innovation.

Unfortunately, during the webinar an air raid warning began in Ukraine, that is why some participants were not able to stay with us until the end of the event. For those who were forced to leave the event or were unable to attend the meeting for other reasons, we traditionally sharing useful materials:
