Survey for Ukrainian researchers from EPFL

Dear Researchers,

A group of researchers at Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), a university based in Switzerland are conducting research on how the full-scale invasion of russian troops into Ukraine on February 24, 2022, affected Ukrainian scientists. This study is important for them to understand the consequences of this situation for the development of education and science in Ukraine and the world as a whole. The results will also allow EPFL to develop proposals to support Ukraine and its academic community during and after the war.

EPFL kindly invites you to take part in this survey, which should take approximately 10-15 minutes of your time.

EPFL is a world-renowned, research-oriented university. They are severely concerned by the situation in Ukraine and doing their best to help Ukrainian students and scientists. They have welcomed 35 Ukrainian students in our Bachelor’s and Master’s programs and they are hosting 17 Ukrainian scientists. Besides, the survey team is eager to help Ukraine financially in this difficult time. For every valid response we receive, EPFL will donate 1 dollar for each completed questionnaire to help Ukraine. An overview of the findings will be made available to participants who have expressed their wish to receive a copy of the report. EPFL will send information about the amount of money collected and their donations together with the survey results.

The survey results will be used solely for academic purposes, and EPFL will treat your responses under strict confidentiality. You can contact the organizers at any moment to withdraw your data from the sample.
