Fast track access to European research infrastructures for the researchers of Ukraine

The European Commission announced a Research Infrastructure call that offers fast track access to the Ukrainian researchers to the EU research infrastructure:

Research Infrastructure Services to Support Health Research, Accelerate the Green and Digital Transformation, and Advance Frontier Knowledge (INFRASERV)

Under Horizon Europe, INFRASERV focused on the provision of integrated RI services to enable R&I addressing major societal challenges, including health challenges, the green and digital transformation and the resilience to crises, as well as to support curiosity-driven research and the advancement of frontier knowledge in broad scientific domains.

One of the objective of this call is to offer fast track access to European research infrastructures for the researchers of Ukraine specifically across the following RI services:

RI services to enable R&I addressing main challenges and EU priorities RIA
     – RI services to enable research linking environmental factors to human health
     – RI services for improving clinical research in the paediatric area
     – RI services for climate-change risks
     – RI services for sustainable Arctic/polar regions
     – RI services for healthy ocean and waters
     – RI services for sustainable aquaculture, fisheries and blue economy
     – RI services for renewable energy technologies and systems
     – RI services for innovative applications of nanoscience and nanotechnology
     – RI services to enhance the EU capacity for the development of semiconductors
     – RI services for shaping the future generation society
RI services advancing frontier knowledge RIA
     – RI services in Biosphere: terrestrial biodiversity and ecosystems, including forest
     – RI services in Astronomy and Astroparticle physics
     – RI services in Arts and Humanities
RI services advancing frontier knowledge: co-fund pilots with pan-European RIs and/or national RIs COFUND

Actions under this destination will be invited to facilitate fast-track access for researchers from non-occupied territories of Ukraine, through specific outreach activities, support in preparing applications to the access calls, selection priority at equal scientific merit as well as extended ad-hoc training and duration of visits (beyond 3 months).

Data on Ukraine’s participation in this scheme will be collected separately.
