Today, on June 1, 2023, representatives of the NRFU joined the international workshop on Research Excellence under the Multilateral Dialogue on Principles and Values for International Cooperation in Research and Innovation.
The workshop has been designed and prepared together with representatives from Canada and Italy, supported by representatives from Chile, The Guild, YERUN, the European Research Council Executive Agency and the European Commission. The goal of the workshop: to develop a common understanding of the principles and values that should form the basis for international research and innovation cooperation through open discussion.
Participants attended breakout sessions focused on the following two topics:
Topic 1: How is research excellence understood and practised?
Topic 2: How should excellence be assessed and achieved in the context of international research cooperation?
The seminar became a platform for the exchange of views and experiences of representatives of the research community from different countries and organizations. Experts discussed the implementation of advanced research, in particular, its definition, evaluation, and implementation in the context of international cooperation.
