On October 17, 2023, the Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine was launched on the basis of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine. This became possible thanks to the cooperation of the Directorate of the Foundation with the European Commission and the Government of Ukraine.
The activities of the Office will be aimed at maximizing the opportunities for cooperation in research and innovation provided by Ukraine’s membership in the Horizon Europe program. In addition, the staff of the Office will provide information and advisory support to the National Contact Points, researchers and other interested parties to strengthen cooperation in the field of research, innovation and technology.
Currently, organizational activities to ensure the full functioning of the Office are being finalized.
We remind you that within the framework of the Grant Agreement under project 101132682 — HEOinUA, the European Commission will provide financial assistance (in the form of a grant) to finance the work of the Office for 36 months.
The EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation ‘Horizon Europe’ is designed for 2021-2027. The main goals of the program are defined as follows:
- strengthening the European research and technical base and the European research area;
- increasing the innovative potential and competitiveness of Europe;
- implementation of society’s priorities, support of the socio-economic model and values of Europe.
