Joint Meeting of MSCA4Ukraine

Today, on 18 April 2024, a joint meeting of the Coordination Consortium, the European Commission (DG EAC, REA) and the Advisory Board of the MSCA4Ukraine programme was held.

We remind you that the MSCA4Ukraine scholarship programme was launched in 2022 as part of the EU’s response to the russian invasion of Ukraine to support displaced researchers and is funded under the Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action programme. As a result of the first call for proposals, the programme provided scholarship support to 124 researchers from Ukraine to continue their research in 21 host countries.

The Executive Director of the NRFU Olga Polotska, who is a member of the programme’s Advisory Board, also joined the meeting. The participants discussed the status of project activities, in particular, current scholarships and preparations for the second MSCA4Ukraine call. They also stressed the importance of information dissemination activities to improve the visibility of the programme among the Ukrainian research community.
