Today, on September 05, the final day of the information event on ‘Grant opportunities of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine and support tools within the Horizon Europe Programme’ took place in Odesa

During the day the participants continued to discuss such important topics as:

  • grant opportunities for business within the Horizon Europe Programme;
  • opportunities for Ukrainian researchers in the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action (MSCA) programme component;
  • organizational and legal aspects of the NRFU competitive selection;
  • financial literacy and culture of preparation of the financial and economic part of the grant application: common mentality and budget centrism;
  • principles of grant project administration and control over their implementation.

Representatives of higher education institutions, research institutions, small and medium-sized businesses, state and local governments, and NGOs were invited to participate in the two-day event.

The organization of such events plays an important role in promoting research and innovation. We sincerely thank the Department of Education and Science of the Odesa Regional (Military) State Administration and the Southern Scientific Centre of the NAS of Ukraine and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine for assistance in the event, as well as the participants who joined it. The day ended with a lively Q&A session, which allowed the participants to get answers to their questions.

The next information events in other cities of Ukraine will be announced on the website of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine and the Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine.
