Welcome to the Ukrainian Open Science Forum (UOSF-2024)

We invite scholars, educators, PhD candidates, university students, and anyone interested in science, education, and academic integrity to join the Ukrainian Open Science Forum (UOSF2024). This event will take place from November 21-23 at Lviv Polytechnic National University in a hybrid format, allowing both in-person and online participation. UOSF2024 presents a unique opportunity to discuss current trends in research ecosystems from the EU, UK, USA, and beyond and explore their role in strengthening Ukraine’s education, science, and innovation systems. The forum will foster international connections, experience-sharing, and the exchange of ideas to advance scientific and educational processes in Ukraine and worldwide. The program is available on the official event website: https://peers.international/uosf-2024.

UOSF2024 is the culmination of the four-year Optima Project (Erasmus+ CBHE) and will cover topics such as open science, academic integrity, research assessment reform in line with #CoARA principles, and reproducibility (with the launch of the Ukrainian Reproducibility Network during the forum). We’ll also discuss the broader impact of these topics on academia and beyond. Join us in Lviv or online — participation is free but requires registration at https://forms.gle/yADXEEeGoJDeU2XD8
