Register now: international workshop on foresight for Ukraine’s research and innovation system

Why join?

This online workshop is designed to equip you with foresight methods that help anticipate trends, design adaptive policies and build a resilient research and innovation system.

Join us to explore how strategic foresight can empower smarter and more resilient policy decisions.

What can you expect?

In this LUKE Knowledge Hub online workshop, you will:

  • Discover the fundamentals of strategic foresight and its practical applications.
  • Learn about approaches and methods to navigate uncertainty and shape the future of R&I.
  • Engage with experts and peers to exchange insights and best practices.

The workshop will be moderated by Henriette Kirch, who is a member of the LUKE project team and a Senior Scientific Officer at the German Aerospace Center (DLR-PT). Henriette brings extensive experience in foresight training and facilitation, helping organisations navigate complexity and design future-ready strategies. She gives trainings and presentations in foresight methods at institutions such as the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) and the Federal Academy for Security Policy (BAKS).

Who can participate?

This workshop is open to professionals in public sector institutions, including:

  • Ministries and government agencies
  • Universities and research-performing organisations
  • Policy-makers and practitioners in research and innovation

We especially welcome participants from:

  • EU widening countries: Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia.
  • EU enlargement context: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Kosovo*, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Ukraine and Türkiye.
