On August 12, 2021, a delegation from Poland consisting of the President of the Polish Academy of Sciences Jerzy Duszyński and Acting Director of the Representation of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Kyiv Mateusz Bialaś. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss opportunities for establishing and developing scientific cooperation between the institutions.

The President of the Polish Academy of Sciences, praised the work of the Foundation, given a large number of grant applications and the small number of NFDU staff.

The parties agreed on further joint work on the legislative settlement in the research field of both countries and the possibility of involving Polish scientists in the examination of research and development projects.
