Scientific SuperNova

Final communication event of this year “Scientific SuperNova” was held on December 20th by the National Research Foundation of Ukraine with the information support of the Council of Young Scientists of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine with the participation of the Verkhovna Rada Committee of Education, Science and Innovation of Ukraine members.

During the event, Ukrainian scientists had the opportunity to present their achievements and projects implemented with the grant support of the NRFU, and highlight strategically important developments which are ready for practical implementation.

Speakers and representatives of the directorate of the organizing institutions were present in the Depo Conference Hall. Everyone had the opportunity to watch a live broadcast in TEDx format at the official Facebook and YouTube page of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

The speakers of the event were Professors Natalia KUSSUL, Lyubov LUKASH, Olena KOVALENKO, Oleksandr ROSHAL, Vitalii MASNENKO, Ph.D. Maxim YURZHENKO, Candidate of Chemistry Kateryna VOYTKO, Ph.D. biol. Pavlo GOLDIN. Last year their projects won the calls “Science for Human Safety and Society” and “Support for Research of Leading and Young Scientists” and received grant funding from the NRFU for 2-3 years.

Moreover, there were honored guests who gave welcoming speeches, they are: Chairman of the NRFU Academician Professor Leonid YATSENKO, Deputy Minister for the European Integration of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine Oleksii SHKURATOV, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Lifelong and Extracurricular Education of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Education, Science and Innovation Roman HRYSCHUK and Adviser of the President of Ukraine on the Foundation for Support of Education, Science and Sports Olga BUDNYK. Final speeches were made by the Chairman of the CYS Olesya VASHCHUK and the Executive Director of the NRFU Olga POLOTSKA.

The National Research Foundation of Ukraine will certainly continue to hold such events in future and plans to make it a good tradition. In this way, the Foundation wants to promote science and those who move Ukrainian science forward!
