Today, on the 27th of October, the Executive Director of the NRFU Olga Polotska took part in the conference “Horizon of Innovation. The 15th anniversary of NCBR”.
The event under the slogan “The future is happening here” is being held in Warsaw. It is devoted to issues of innovative startups and international cooperation. Today, on the first day of the conference, panel discussions were held discussing the following topics:
- Challenges ahead
- How to make the New EU Innovation Agenda a reality?
- National Contact Point for Horizon Europe and the landscape of national support system
- NCBR Office in Brussels – scope and activities
- NCBR international funding schemes (current schedule of calls)
- Horizon Europe Partnerships, Bilateral/multilateral calls
- International projects – why bother?
- Bilateral cooperation: strengths & weaknesses. Future scenarios vs. wide catalogue of multilateral programmes in Horizon Europe
- US/Nevada market entry for Polish start-ups: present experience & look ahead
- What more can we do to support start-ups with global aspirations?
At the invitation of the NCBR the Executive Director of the NRFU joined the discussion devoted to strengths and weaknesses of bilateral/ multilateral cooperation. During the session, problematic issues were discussed with representatives of various types of institutions, in particular, the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC, Taiwan), The Research Council of Norway, The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK), International Bureau (IB) of the Project Management Agency c/o German Aerospace Centre as well as representatives of the host organization NCBR.
