Сall for applications ‘European Water Awards (EWA) 2024’ is open

The Bled Water Festival will be held in Bled, Slovenia, on June 13-14, 2024. The event is dedicated to promoting the development and understanding of quality drinking water around the world.

As part of the Festival, the call for applications for the European Water Awards (EWA) 2024 was announced. The topic of the call is innovations in water quality improvement and protection. This prestigious award recognizes outstanding solutions that significantly improve the quality of drinking water and water sources, thereby contributing to environmental protection and expanding access to clean water.

Submit your innovative technical solutions/projects in the following fields:

  • A) Improve drinking water quality: Solutions for containing various contaminants
  • B) Protection of water quality: Innovative approaches to safeguard rivers, lakes, and seas

Companies that implement innovations in the water sector are invited to participate.

With the support of the Slovenian Business and Research Association (SBRA), the winner in each area will be able to apply for EU funding for their project.

To submit a project for the Award, we require the following information:

  1. Title of the project/technical solution
  2. Field the project/technical solution is applying for (A or B)
  3. Company name
  4. Company contact (name, email)
  5. Short description of the project/technical solutions (maximum 300 words)

Application is free of charge.

The call is open until 31st May 2024.
