Today, on July 3, the Horizon Europe Proposal Writing Camp (PWC) for Ukraine was opened. We remind you that launching of the PWC was initiated by the European Commission. The goal of the program is to help researchers and innovators from Ukraine prepare solid project ideas related to future Horizon Europe calls.
The first day began with explanation about the format and activities of the PWC, an overview of the Horizon Europe program, identification of relevant funding lines and thematic areas, questions about the Funding and Tenders Portal, and evaluation of applications. The opening speeches were delivered by Natalia Dolya, Policy Specialist, Directorate-General for Research and Innovation, EC, and Olga Polotska, Executive Director of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine.
The training will last until July 7, 2023. The program will include analysis of the key elements of Horizon Europe proposals: excellence, impact, implementation/work plan, and a number of related issues that will be addressed by leading experts invited by the EC to provide the training.
We deeply appreciate the European Commission’s efforts to equip Ukrainian R&I community with participation in the highly important and relevant event!
