The NRFU team held another information event – this time in Odesa

On September 03-05, an information event on ‘Grant opportunities of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine and support tools within the Horizon Europe Programme’ is going on in Odesa.

On the first day of the event, September 03, representatives of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine (NRFU), headed by the Executive Director of the Foundation Olga Polotska, met with the management of the Department of Education and Science of the Odesa Regional (Military) State Administration and the Southern Scientific Centre of the NAS of Ukraine and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine to discuss the prospects for deepening cooperation in the scientific field.

On the second day, September 04, Olga Polotska shared a presentation on the topic ‘The NRFU: what kind of instrument is this and how does it work?’. Representatives of the Foundation’s departments also examined such topical issues as:

  • NRFU strategy for Open Science;
  • NRFU calls: organizational support;
  • legal aspects of participation in the Horizon Europe Programme;
  • financial issues of participation in the Horizon Europe Programme;
  • opportunities for Ukrainian researchers within the Horizon Europe Programme as a component of the ERC;
  • missions of the Horizon Europe Programme and NEB.

Representatives of the NRFU concluded the second day with a practical workshop, giving the participants a tour of the Funding and Tenders Portal and showing them step-by-step the key features of the platform.

On September 05, the last day of the information event is scheduled where the participants will continue their presentations and discussions.
