On December 20, 2023, the official launch of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine will take place.

The launch of the Horizon Europe Office will boost Ukraine’s capability to participate in collaborative R&I projects and a testament to strong cooperation between the European Commission, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, and the National Research Foundation of Ukraine.

Iliana Ivanova, European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, Mykhailo Fedorov, Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science and Technology Development – Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Oksen Lisovyi, Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, as well as other high-ranking officials, parliamentarians, representatives of the international, scientific and innovation communities are expected to take part in the event.

The activities of the Office will strengthen Ukrainian participation in R&I opportunities offered by Ukraine’s association to the Horizon Europe Framework Programme.
