The Nanophotonics journal, in collaboration with the Optica Foundation announced a grant program to support Ukrainian researchers and educators.
This program aims to provide support for researchers and educators within the optics and photonics community living in Ukraine whose lives and work have been impacted by the ongoing war.
Through this initiative, we will offer grants to around 100 researchers and educators of all ages, whose ability to continue their optics and photonics research or educational activities has been directly impacted by the war.
Grants will range from $500 to $2,000.
Researchers who meet the following criteria are encouraged to apply:
- Candidates must be Ukrainian citizens currently living in the Ukraine and affiliated with a Ukrainian institution.
- Must be actively working in research or education with a focus on optics, photonics, or a related field.
- Candidates’ ability to continue their optics and photonics research has been adversely affected by the war.
Applications close November 30, 2023.
