International Research Cooperation: NCBR Invites Ukrainian Entities to Participate in INNOGLOBO

The National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR) of the Republic of Poland announces the launch of the 5th call of the INNOGLOBO Programme which started on 1 December 2025. The programme offers an excellent opportunity to strengthen research cooperation between Poland and Ukraine.

INNOGLOBO is an open international programme implemented by NCBR, aimed at supporting Polish institutions in establishing and developing research collaborations with foreign partners.

The deadline for submission is set for 30 April 2026.

Project duration from 24 to 36 months.

Under the 5th call of the programme, Polish entities may freely select foreign project partners from all countries with which Poland maintains diplomatic relations. Projects are implemented by international consortia, composed of a Polish entity(s) and at least one foreign partner with no restrictions on its selection.

The programme supports projects aimed at developing, adapting or implementing modern technological solutions. Projects may address various thematic areas, provided that the thematic scope aligns with the current list of National Smart Specializations.

The total budget of the call amounts to PLN 20,000,000.

Applicants may apply for funding for international R&D projects with diverse budgets. Each foreign partner in the consortium is required to secure sufficient financial resources to cover the costs of implementing their part of the project and submit a corresponding declaration confirming the availability of these funds. These resources may come from the partner’s own funds or external sources, such as bank loans, credits, or co-financing from foreign R&D funding institutions.

The share of financial resources contributed by all the foreign Partners forming the international consortium lies between 30% and 70% of the overall budget allocated by the international consortium for the project.

The funding provided by the Polish applicant is from PLN 300,000 to PLN 2 million.

How to submit applications
