On March 18, 2026, in Tartu, Estonia, International Research Cooperation Conference Dedicated to Ukraine takes place

On March 18, 2026, the Estonian Research Council invites you to the international conference “International Research Cooperation – With Ukraine and For Ukraine”.

Venue (on-site): Tartu, Estonia, Lydia Hotel Conference Centre, 9:30–18:00 (local time)

Online: 10:00–17:00 EET / 9:00–16:00 CET

The conference is organised by the Estonian Research Council (ETAG) in cooperation with the National Research Foundation of Ukraine (NRFU) and supported by ESTDEV (Estonian Centre for International Development).

It is open to all researchers, research administrators, and policymakers and all interested in strengthening international research collaboration.

The conference will provide an overview of current research collaboration and initiatives from Estonia, Ukraine, the EU, and the Nordic-Baltic region on the integration of Ukrainian researchers into the European Research Area. Special attention will be given to Ukrainian research initiatives and joint international projects, as well as opportunities for future collaboration at the European level.

The event will be held in English, with simultaneous interpretation into Ukrainian for online participants.

Pre-registration is required for the conference by 10 March 2026.
