On July 4, 2024, an online information and communication event was held on the occasion of the sixth anniversary of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine.
The event was attended by representatives of the National Council for the Development of Science and Technology, members of the Scientific Council and representatives of the Foundation’s Directorate. Representatives of the University of Cambridge were specially invited guests of the event, and the winners of the call “Cambridge – NRFU 2022. Individual Grants for Research (Development) for Ukrainian Scientists (with the support of the University of Cambridge, UK)” became speakers and presented their projects.
In 2022, the University of Cambridge became the first to provide non-refundable financial assistance to the NRFU to support Ukrainian researchers directly affected by the hostilities in Ukraine, and the joint call was the first announced by the Foundation with the support of an international partner.
As part of the event, the winners of the call presented their projects, told about the purpose, main tasks, obtained and expected results of the research and their practical significance.
