Science Day 2026: Integration of Ukraine into the European Research Area

The National Research Foundation of Ukraine invites you to join the information event “Integration of Ukraine into the European Research Area” which will take place on 15 May 2026 as part of the Science Day in Ukraine, annually held on the third Saturday of May.

The event is intended to serve as a platform for discussing opportunities for Ukrainian researchers and innovators within the European and global research areas. Its aim is to promote science and innovation, as well as to foster synergies among European programmes, associations, and initiatives focused on strengthening cross-sectoral and interdisciplinary scientific mobility, activity, and collaboration.

Speakers of the event will include representatives of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Education, Science and Innovation, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Directorate-General for Research and Innovation (DG RTD), Science Europe, the Fund of the President of Ukraine for the Support of Education, Science, and Sports, the EU Delegation to Ukraine, the UNESCO Antenna in Ukraine, the National Research Foundation of Ukraine, the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT), the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine, and the DAAD Information Centre Kyiv.

  • Time: 09:00–15:00 (Kyiv time)
  • Languages: English and Ukrainian (simultaneous interpretation provided)

To participate in the event, please complete the registration form via the link provided (the Form is in Ukrainian).

Registration is open until 10 May 2026.

Please note that the number of places is limited; therefore, we recommend registering without delay.

Important: for security reasons, the venue address and the online participation link will be sent only to registered participants.

We invite all interested participants to join the event to jointly celebrate Ukraine’s role in the European Research Area, as well as the contribution of Ukrainian scientists, researchers, and innovators to the development of science and society.
