This is a reminder that on the occasion of the Science Day in Ukraine the information event ‘Integration of Ukraine into the Global Research Area’ will be held today, on May 17, 2024.
The event will be joined by distinguished guests, including representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Education, Science and Innovation, the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine etc.
In addition, the event will also feature speakers from the foreign partners of the NRFU, including representatives of the European Commission, the Dutch Research Council (NWO), the German Research Foundation (DFG), the COST Association and Science Europe, US National Academies of Sciences.
Within the framework of the event the following topics will be discussed:
- realities and prospects for the development of science in Ukraine;
- ways of integration of Ukraine into the Global Research Area;
- results of international cooperation of the NRFU and launch of new initiatives;
- opportunities for Ukrainian research projects of the Horizon Europe EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation;
- involvement of Ukrainian researchers in COST Actions;
- Ukraine on the way to Open Science;
- grant opportunities for business, etc.
