Strengthening cooperation between the NRFU and the Estonian Research Council

Today, Anu Noorma, Director General of the Estonian Research Council (ETAg) visited the National Research Foundation of Ukraine.

The Estonian Research Council is a partner of the NRFU within the framework of the international multilateral initiative IMPRESS-U, as well Science Europe association. In particular, representatives of the NRFU and ETAg actively cooperate within working groups on science communication, open science, etc.

During today’s meeting, which was dedicated to the possibilities of strengthening cooperation between the institutions, representatives of the NRFU Directorate spoke about the work of the Foundation, the results of recent developments and calls, as well as the challenges faced by the Ukrainian research community today. The participants discussed the possibilities of establishing and developing cooperation between the institutions and agreed on further joint work.

Professor Noorma spoke about the work of ETAg and the research support system in Estonia in general, congratulated the Foundation on its sixth anniversary, and shared information about the initiatives launched for Ukrainian researchers and those that are planned to be implemented.

We highly appreciate the desire of our international partners to cooperate and look forward to the successful implementation of all planned initiatives. We express our sincere gratitude for the visit and look forward to new meetings and joint achievements.
