The National Research Foundation has joined Crossref

This is important news, as it greatly simplifies the mechanism for ensuring that references to the NRFU’s project are available in scientific publications that contain information on the results of research conducted with grant support from the Foundation.

The NRFU has now been added to the Crossref Funder Registry. Currently 5,000 publishers worldwide are members of the Crossref . Crossref’s citation database includes more than 75 million journal articles and other types of scientific publications.
