On April 17, 2024, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the National Research Foundation of Ukraine and the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine.
The purpose of the Memorandum is to coordinate efforts in stimulating fundamental and applied research in the field of law, and to assist in the development of an innovative environment free from infringement of intellectual property rights.
In accordance with the Memorandum, the NRFU and the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine expressed their intention to cooperate in the following areas:
- interaction in research and expert advisory activities;
- involvement in scientific and practical events, including conferences, seminars, round tables, trainings, etc;
- providing consultations on available national and international grant opportunities to organizations under the jurisdiction of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine;
- informational and advisory assistance to the NRFU grantees in obtaining intellectual property rights to their research results;
- popularization of the results of knowledge and research in the field of law obtained by the NRFU grantees;
- participation in organizing and conducting events to encourage and support research creativity (in particular, in terms of applying for grant support) in the research environment;
- mutual information support, etc.
From now on, institutions will coordinate their efforts to address the problems of legal science and jointly develop the educational, research and innovative potential of Ukraine.
