The NRFU delegation on InnoWeek.Uz-2021

The International Week of Innovative Ideas “InnoWeek.Uz-2021” is over. During the time spent in Tashkent the NRFU delegation got acquainted and collected interesting facts about the Fund for Science Financing and Innovation Support of Uzbekistan.

  •  The Equipment is purchased by the Foundation;
  • The budget of projects in most cases is distributed according to following principle: 40% for the material and technical base supporting (for technical and natural science projects), 20% – for social and humanitarian projects;
  • Third-party organizations are involved in the implementation of projects (subcontractors in NRFU projects, but financing agreements are multilateral);
  • The Statute of the Fund is a very simple and flexible document that provides freedom of decision-making and time savings;
  • A separate personal bank account is opened for each project;
  • The expert’s salary is $ 25;
  • The expert base is updated annually;
  • There are certain restrictions on the involvement of project managers and research institutes as project supervisors;
  • The Fund finances the winning projects of various types of calls, including targeted ones, which are announced in accordance with the needs of the real sectors of the economy, ministries and other government agencies.
