The third round of Seminars in the framework of the Open4UA Project takes place in Ljubljana

On April 23-26, 2024, representatives of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine are participating in the third round of training seminars on open science and reforming of research assessment as part of the Open4UA  project (Open Science for Ukrainian Higher Education System).

The events are held at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. The program includes presentations, open and focus discussions, round tables, as well as additional events.

During the events, attention of the participants is focused on the experience of reforming Slovenian legislation and the necessary institutional reforms on open science and research assessment in Ukraine. During the workshops, participants will jointly develop recommendations for national policy and institutional implementation of open science and research assessment practices.

In addition, the participants will attend events organized by the Network of Universities from the Capitals of Europe (UNICA), workshop on the practical aspects of research data management with the assistance of the Social Science Data Archive of Slovenia, as well as sessions on research infrastructures, research and society, the formation of open science communities, etc.
