In March, the American Physical Society (APS) will hold its annual meeting, bringing together students, early-career, and leading physicists from around the world to connect and collaborate across academia, industry, and major labs. More than 10,000 physicists will come together to celebrate the frontiers of physics, pave pathways into new research, and nurture the next generation of scientists.
Dates of the event:
In-person meeting: March 5-10, 2023.
Virtual: March 20-22, 2023.
We are pleased to announce that Ukrainian physicists have a great opportunity to join the meeting for free!
How to join:
To be exempted from the registration fee, Ukrainian physicists affected by the war should contact Dr. Amy Flatten (Director of International Affairs of the APS) via email: flatten@aps.org.
Moreover, the virtual meeting will be available on demand until June 30, 2023. This will enable Ukrainian participants to access the videos at a time that is convenient for them.
Whether you join in-person or virtually, the March Meeting is your opportunity to share your research, network with your peers, establish connections with foreign colleagues and learn about current issues relevant to the physics community.
