We invite Ukrainians to take part in an online seminar on research for Ukraine’s recovery

We are reaching out to a broad group of concerned and active Ukrainian citizens whose work is not related to science or innovation.

You are invited to join an online seminar on 27 May 2025, from 15:00 to 19:00. During the seminar, you will have the opportunity to share your views on the research areas that could benefit society and contribute to Ukraine’s recovery. To participate, you will need a computer with a stable Internet connection (preferably with a headset for comfortable communication).

How to take part?

To apply, please complete the online registration form.

We will ask for some basic personal information in order to randomly select a diverse group of participants by region, education, age, and gender.

Selected participants will be notified by 20 May 2025 and will receive a €20 reward for their participation.

Why your participation is important

This seminar is part of an EU-funded project in which research funding organisations are preparing a call for research projects in Ukraine. Your input will help shape the priority themes of this call. The best selected research projects will receive funding and contribute to Ukraine’s recovery and development.

If selected, you will receive a short description of several potential research topics (e.g., agriculture, energy, etc.) before the event. Together with other participants, you will be invited to discuss your views, expectations, and concerns. This feedback will help refine the research themes to better reflect the needs and hopes of Ukrainian society.
