SAVE THE DATE: Foresight Workshop: The Futures of the R&I System in Ukraine 2035+

The National Research Foundation of Ukraine invites interested participants to join a highly interactive “lunch-to-lunch” foresight workshop held within the LUKE project, where research and innovation (R&I) experts will collaboratively shape resilient and ambitious futures for Ukraine’s R&I system beyond 2035.

Workshop Highlights
Using core strategic foresight methods, participants will actively engage in:

  • Trend & Scenario Mapping: Co-creating four plausible future scenarios for Ukrainian R&I.
  • Strategic Visioning & Roadmapping: Agreeing on a shared vision and translating it into concrete milestones.
  • Exclusive Site Visit: A guided tour of the Solaris National Synchrotron Radiation Centre.

Registration Information
The online registration platform will open for expressions of interest on 1 June 2026.

Please note that submitting an expression of interest does not guarantee a seat at this stage. Due to limited capacity, formal confirmation and official invitations will be issued to selected up to 20 participants at the end of June.

Note: This workshop is part of the LUKE project, funded by the European Union (Grant Agreement 101188315).
