Science Day in Ukraine – May 19, 2023

The National Research Foundation informs: the event on the occasion of the Science Day in Ukraine will be held on May 19, 2023.

The event aims to bring together representatives of the Ukrainian and international research community to discuss ways to support research in Ukraine during and after the war and integration of Ukrainian research into the world research area.

The event will be attended by specially invited honored guests, including:

  • Oksen LISOVYI – Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine;
  • Serhiy BABAK – Member of the Parliament of Ukraine, The Chairman of the Committee on Education, Science and Innovation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine;
  • Anatoly ZAGORODNY – President of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine;
  • Signe RATSO – Deputy Director-General – Directorate-General “Research and Innovation” (RTD), European Commission;
  • Denys KURBATOV – Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine;
  • Oleksiy KOLEZHUK – Head of the Scientific Committee of the National Council of Ukraine on Science and Technology Development.

Languages of the event: Ukrainian, English.

The live broadcast in Ukrainian will be held on the official page of the NRFU in Facebook.

English translation will be available on the official page of the NRFU in YouTube.

Start at 4:00 PM (Kyiv time)

The event will be held with the informational support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Kunsht Popular Science Magazine and the project “Science at Risk”.
