The National Research Foundation reminds that on May 19, 2023, the event on the occasion of the Science Day in Ukraine will be held.
The event will feature a panel discussion “Ways to support science and research in Ukraine during the war” with the participation of special guests:
- Yevhen KUDRIAVETS – Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine for European integration;
- Roman HRYSCHUK– Member of the Parliament of Ukraine, Member of the Committee on Education, Science and Innovation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine;
- Olga BUDNYK – Advisor to the President of Ukraine on the Fund of the President of Ukraine for Support of Education, Science and Sport;
- Yulia BEZVERSHENKO – co-founder of the UAScience.reload and Science at Risk initiatives.
The panel discussion will be hosted by Yuriy KHALAVKA – Associate Professor at Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University, co-founder of the UA Science.Reload and Science at Risk initiatives.
Will talk about Ukrainian research during the war, institutional challenges and opportunities for development, and the necessary steps towards the European Research Area.
