Since the first days of the full-scale war, Science Europe (SE) and its member organisations have supported the National Research Foundation of Ukraine (NRFU) and the Ukrainian research community. As part of this partnership, the NRFU and Science Europe are organising a series of online webinars to be held from September 2025 to February 2026. The event will combine international expertise and Ukrainian needs to foster the development of a modern research ecosystem.
About the Webinars
The goal of the SE–NRFU webinar series is to provide Ukrainian researchers with the tools and knowledge to manage research projects more effectively and to implement best international practices.

- 19 September 2025 – Balancing bottom-up and top-down research funding
- 25 November 2025 – Developing and implementing monitoring tools for R&D projects
- 20 February 2026 – Open Science policies and practices of research funding organisations

All three webinars are scheduled to take place from 10.00–11.30 CET (11.00–12.30 EET).
The event will be held in English, with simultaneous translation into Ukrainian.
